GYS EXAGON 400 FLEX CC/CV – Multi-Process Multi-Voltage Welding Power Source

The GYS EXAGON 400 FLEX CC/CV (Ref. 069718) is a powerful 5-in-1 multi-process, multi-voltage welding power source designed for professional and demanding industrial welding applications. Equipped with PFC (Power Factor Correction) and FLEX technology, it can operate from a remarkably wide power supply range, accepting both single-phase and three-phase supplies from 190 V up to 600 V. This makes the EXAGON 400 FLEX an exceptionally versatile solution for workshops, fabrication sites and challenging job-site environments where available power supplies may vary.

Designed for maximum process flexibility, the EXAGON 400 FLEX supports MMA, MMA Pulse, TIG DC, Arc Gouging and MIG/MAG welding. In MMA mode, it can weld rutile, basic, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminium and cellulosic electrodes up to Ø6 mm. MMA Pulse provides adjustable pulse frequency for improved control, particularly in vertical welding positions, while TIG DC uses reliable Lift ignition. The machine also supports carbon arc gouging with electrodes up to Ø6.5 mm.

For MIG/MAG welding, the EXAGON 400 FLEX can operate with solid wire from Ø0.6–1.6 mm and flux-cored wire up to Ø2.4 mm when paired with the optional NOMADFEED wire feeder.

Engineered for intensive industrial use, the EXAGON delivers up to 400 A at 60% duty cycle on three-phase supply. Its high open-circuit voltage promotes excellent arc stability and reliable ignition, while an on-demand ventilation system helps reduce dust ingress into the machine. Heavy-duty metal construction, anti-shock protection and dual steel carrying handles provide durability and portability for demanding working conditions.

The EXAGON 400 FLEX also incorporates a selectable VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) that can reduce the no-load voltage to below 35 V. With an IP23 protection rating, generator compatibility, support for extension cables up to 100 metres, and optional robot connectivity, the machine is designed for both workshop and site-based industrial applications.
