WESCOL Type 90 Resettable Flashback Arrestor – Oxygen & Fuel Gas

The WESCOL Type 90 Resettable Flashback Arrestor is a high-performance gas safety device designed to protect gas distribution systems, operators, gas sources and pressure regulators against flashback and reverse gas flow. Available in dedicated Oxygen (FB0013) and Fuel Gas (FB0014) versions, the Type 90 provides comprehensive protection for professional cutting, welding and heating applications.

The Type 90 incorporates four integrated safety functions. The Flame Arrestor (FA) quenches a flame front, while the Non-Return Valve (NV) prevents gas from travelling in the opposite direction. A Temperature-Sensitive Cut-Off Valve (TV) stops the gas flow when a predetermined temperature is exceeded, and a Pressure-Sensitive Cut-Off Valve (PV) shuts off the gas flow when pressure exceeds a preset limit.

Manufactured with a robust CW614N brass body and designed for standard-flow applications, the Type 90 is available for Oxygen, Acetylene, Propane/LPG and Hydrogen gas systems. The Oxygen version is rated for a maximum inlet pressure of 10 bar, while the Fuel Gas version is rated at 1.5 bar for Acetylene and 4 bar for Propane/LPG and Hydrogen.

Manufactured in accordance with ISO 5175, each unit is WESCOL branded and permanently marked with its batch information, gas flow direction, applicable reference standard and date of manufacture for clear identification and traceability.
